Lin,

I'm in more pain than usual because of the accident.............I was sitting in the passenger seat holding Petey on my right leg, with my right arm around him when we hit the sign with the right side of the car. All of my muscles tightened up, including my muscles in my rib area, hips, abdomen, back, leg, shoulders....the whole body. Between that and being shook around, especially when Gene had to hit the brakes and we went jerking forward and I was trying to hold onto Petey so that he didn't slide off my lap and into the dash or windshield.

So, today I have had the new TENS Unit on my back the whole day, and have used my pain killers a bit more than I am supposed to.............just because the pain levels are at a 10++++ and without doubling the doses, there would be no way I would have been able to get out of bed and stay out of bed otherwise.

As for my car, right now, we know that it needs a new rim on the Front Passenger side, because it bent it bad enough that Gene can't pound it back into the right shape to keep it's seal onto the tire. And, since it's the only vehicle we have that we can actually drive to my doctor appointments............I'm scared to drive it myself because the tire can blow at any time, causing me to wreck the car again, possibly wrecking into another vehicle.............and I DEFINATELY do not want that to happen!

Otherwise, until we can get the Rim fixed, and can drive the car around, we won't actually know the full amount of damage that was done. We do know that it will all be on the Passenger side though.....because that was the only side that hit the post. The Drivers side didn't hit anything.

I swear, if we didn't have Very BAD Luck, We'd Be DEAD!

ugh

Tonia,

I am so happy that you and your family are okay, well somewhat okay. My youngest daughter was working in Portland at the office where I used to work. Anyway she was coming home (her home) and this guy starts pulling into the inside lane which was where she was anyway she swerved and hit the gravel that was left over from last winter, lost contol of her car and starting spinning around, a car did hit her, but praise the Lord neither her or the other person were seriously hurt. She did say her back and neck hurt, and they think her car maybe totaled, they will find out more today or tomorrow. Ronnie sounded pretty shook up when he called me to tell me what happened. Of course the first words out of my mouth are is she okay. Once a mother always a mother.

I hope your care isn't totaled and I am thankful that nobody was hurt.

Tonia I am sorry that you are in a lot of pain from the accident. I can still feel the effects from my fall last Friday. So I can just imagine what you feel like. I am glad that none of you children were hurt.

take care,

LIn
