OT - Daughter is coughing funny....

This is my first child and I do not want to take her to ER if I don't

have to because in my cases it seems that we wait so long and she's

fine by the time they see us.

About 6 years ago i was diagnosed with chronic bronchitis. Recently is

has come back but i would really only cough at night. for the last two

days I have been hearing Jacinda cough just a little at night and now

tonight it's gotten bad.

Could she have contracted bronchitis form me or should I act like it's

just a cold?

I would call your pediatrician and see what his/her next course of action would be. Sorry your daughter has a cough. I am not a doctor either but I would definitely have it checked out. My youngest and 4th baby has a cough and was diagnosed with RSV. Does your insurance or local hospital have an ask a nurse available? We have used ours often to help decide if we should take them in or not. I hope both of you are feeling better soon.
