Guest guest
Southern California sounds like the place to go! My sister lived in Santee for a few years and really loved it out there. Me, I've driven from Death Valley to LA and back.. got to see at least a little of the West Coast. Beaches look just like Baywatch! LOL. I did go to "Muscle Beach" too. I'm all for a sunny, warm place. Maybe even take you up on the motorcycle ride.. Hugs, Jo

Guest guest
Jo, With me and heat I think I would be a walking waterfall! My friends and family do not want to come and visit me, because I have not yet put the heat on in my house. I have probably had it on for a total of 30 minutes so far. The heat bothers me so from a combination of the RSD and more so the MS, that if the heat is on my glasses get steamed up and I get very nauseas. I never used to be like this, but since the MS it has gotten real bad! My Mom always has to bring a sweater when she comes over and begs that I shut the windows and doors until she leaves. That is how bad it is for me sometimes. Had all the windows and doors open yesterday and was only in the low 50's. My Mom said she is buying me tank tops for Christmas, because that will most likely be my winter apparel. Take Care and LOL Always! Dawnjomal1@... wrote: Dawn, Believe it or not, I was scheduled to go to Death Valley on Sept. 12th, 2001. Of course, planes were not flying then. People thought I was crazy for going to Death Valley right after 9/11 - but we figured we were NOT going to let terrorists rule what we did. We finally went about the 29th, I think. Death Valley may be good for us.. Nice, dry heat! It hit 115 when I was there! Hugs, Jo
