So, just how is Ehlers-Danlos pronounced?

I say it like L-ers-dan-los (long O in danlos)

A rheumatologist I went to pronounced it

EE-lers-dan-loss

The GI specialist we went to pronounced it

Hell-ers-Dan-loss

(which I think sounds the most appropriate, cause it is pure hell

for those who have it!)

Anybody know?

It's AY-lers Dan-LOS (EH sounds like long a and O sounds like long o

^^

Which of course automatically 'should' make it " easier " for most of us

Canadians to pronounce ... <grin>

Cheri

(know what I mean, eh?)
