Hello everyone -

I'm new to the group but not new to cea. I've had cea for

over 4 years (I think or more). Since being diagnosed with cea I

have seen three different derms. I am now with a derm that has tried

very hard to talk me into taking Accutane and/or going for the Pulse

Dye Treatment. I told her no to the Accutane but was thinking of the

Pulse Dye Treatment. I have also heard of the Parisian/Dermabrasion

Peel (not sure of spelling). It was then that I decided to do some

research on the internet and what better place than here. I've read

many posts, lots of great information but I am getting very anxious.

At this point, I just would like to try to get my cea under

control as natural as possible. I'm tired of taking antibiotics,

facial creams, etc. Any suggestions? I'd like suggestions on what to

use to wash the face (soap, etc.), moisturizer or whatever you use, a

good cover up foundation (I now use Prescriptives also suggested by

my derm). Currently I use all the products (cleanser, moisturizer

and sunscreen) sold by my derm (which is created for her practice).

I've also read a lot on the Photoderm (not sure I want to go that

route just yet). And what about this LInda Sy and Jane Iredale's

products.

I should also mention that at this time I don't feel my cea is

terrible. But I really hate the fact that my face is always red and

I feel like the red is never going away. For once, I'd like to leave

the house without any foundation and feel good about my face. I

love the Summer but since being diagnosed with this I dread it

because that means my cea will get worst and I hate going to the

beach with this face now.

Any help is appreciated and I thank you in advance.
