Guest guest
I was reading one of the other posts about a woman putting on her big floppy hat to go out in the garden, and I was wondering what kind of hat could men wear to protect from the sun? If I lived down south, I could get a cowboy hat, but up on the northern coast, it would look ridiculous! The only thing that I could think of as being conidered acceptable is a baseball cap, which provides some protection, but not very much. Maybe a fidora would be Ok if you were wearing a suit. Any thoughts or advice? Thanks, Mike
Guest guest
Mike, I've been considering getting a hat from Tilley Endurables http://www.tilley.com/index2.asp?MT=B because their hats have spf50 protection, and they happen to have a collection of hats for men. I think some of the men's hats look good. My husband was looking through the catalog I received from them and commented he might like to buy one for himself for when we go hiking. Hope that helps, Matija > I was reading one of the other posts about a woman putting on her big > floppy hat to go out in the garden, and I was wondering what kind of > hat could men wear to protect from the sun? Guest guest
There are a great many good-looking, sun-protecting hats out there, the most ordinary of which is the military desert fatigue hat--sometimes called a bucket hat. For hiking, gardening and the like, it's great. Take a look at your local Army-Navy store for this brimmed, floppy hat. a _____________________________________________________________ a M.
