knee question

Calling all EDS docs (or could-have-been docs!),

I have a question about knee pain. That is one major joint that I haven't had

surgery on!! Maybe my shoulders have had the attention too long!! Both of my

knees have been bothering me for years now but they have gotten progressively

worse and now are about intolerable. They hurt so badly that I can't bend, get

up and wierdly, straighten one of them.

It hurts to walk also, obviously!! Most of the pain is on the inside ofmy

knee and to touch them it hurts also. Even when I straighten out or stretch my

left leg it hurts a lot.

I have gotten the synvisc injections in one of them and they may have helped

a little. Not nearly enough if it did though. Last years MRI of that

particular knee showed a grade two meniscal tear which evidentally isn't

significant

and a small bakers cyst. On the last visit, the doctor acted like it was kinda

strange and commented that it could be something from the fibriomyalgia. Some

how I doubt that though.

Does anyone have ideas about what could be causing my knees to hurt so badly?

I know I don't have any muscles left in my body , including my knee but I

have been doing those knee exercices.

I see the doctor again on Friday and I have to tell him that PT for my

rotator shoulder repair from last yearhas inflamed my shoulder blade badly and

about my knees being worse. I feel like I shouldn't give him too much bad news

all

at once!! Yeah, I know that sounds dumb but I bet some of you understand it

too!!

I would love to get some expert opinons!!

Thanks guys!!
