Guest guest
why is it that you can see asymmetry more in the mirror. When I look at my sons head I can't hardly see any asymmetry but when I look at it through the mirror, it freaks me out because I can still see it quite well even after the band with which we supposedly took care of nearly all the asymmetry. Guest guest
I've heard different resoning behind this and I still don't understand it. My son's plagio looks way worse in the mirror. I worry about what he'll see. Our neurosurgeon said he'd be so used to seeing it that way that he won't notice. I don't know how much i beleive that though. We'll see a few years from now i guess. Guest guest
Facial asy. continues to improve over time. I think it is until they are 7. 5 or 7, I'm not sure of the exact age anymore. Let me try to explain. As the skull gets reset with the band the facial bones do not, but as they grow they continue to grow in the corrected shape so you will see some improvement over time. Now I've made the experience that the ears actually did not get better, but Willow's face did. Hope that helps somewhat Sandy Willow's Mom (6-2-2003) Torticollis resolved (02-2004) Cranio Germany Grad (02-2004) www.geocities.com/samipa74/Willow_Lanette.html www.palmerfamily.armedforcesfamilies.com www.drmy.net/spalmer > > why is it that you can see asymmetry more in the mirror.
