They are very reputable, they have to pass tough tests, believe me I know, have to meet certain criteria, etc. in order to advise you on investments. I hope that you get yourself hooked up, though, with a financial planner who can help you invest the money in such a way that you can have a sizable annual income (after of course paying off the yucky bills and having a little fun for yourself). The security of knowing that you're going to be financially stable will mean a lot to you in the long run. Hope I'm not being a downer, but I know how quickly even a cool million can disappear.
