Guest guest
Hi , Way to go. I am really happy that you were able to get another van. I would buy one of those for my wife in a heartbeat if we needed it, but will have to wait until our Trailblazer is paid for, but I am happy that your weight loss is still doing well. Lin Lhsh@... American by birth, Saved by the grace of God. My brand new van :-) Well, It doesn't look like the lady that owns that ole hog that came flying at me is going to be held responsible. I HAD to get into a vehicle NOW as my rental actually ran out today (Sat.) I had my heart set on a Chevrolet Impala.....it was SOOOOO nice, but I couldn't beg enough rich aunts and uncles for the money to help with a down payment so my payments wouldn't be out the wazzoo, so I was at a loss as to what I was going to do...........then on Thursday night my husband was looking at a piece of paper that had cars sales in them from the previous weekend. They had a Chrysler Town and Country DIRT CHEAP and it was brand new (9 miles on it). I called on Friday morning to see if by some slim chance they still had that van. I really wansn't looking for a van cause I knew I couldn't afford one since my only trade in went up in smoke. Anyway, when I called they told me they still had it, but they didn't know if they could sell it to me at the old sale price as that sell went off 4 days earlier. I told them what happened to me and they came back and said their manager said yes that I had two to choose from at that price. I had already been pre-approved for a loan, so I called and made the arrangements to pick up a check and my husband and I went last night and picked up my brand new van. I think it has 190 miles on it now (waaaaaah), but it smells so ......new. It's a metalic light blue...it's sooooo pretty. I just hope the hogs stay out of the road now....LOL I am still doing great on my weight loss too, that hog must have knocked something out of me, I was losing about 1/2 pound a day, and now I'm doing anything from 1-2 pounds a day since that happened. I'm now down 64 lbs. WooooooHoooooo !!!! H. We are a very active support group. If the email becomes overwhelming, please change your setting to NO EMAIL! Please contact Group Creator Robyn@... Guest guest
I'm a mini van Mom ? Oh my, I didn't think about that....lol the last (and only) child to get out of the house is 16 1/2. I had to get something large enough to carry all my sound equipment where I travel and sing, thats why I got the van. I really had my heart set on a Chevrolet Impala, it was large enough too, but the money didn't come together right for me to get it and get my payments down where I wanted them, and I was NOT going to go into debt again for anything. This van was a real STEAL, and my payments are almost 100.00 a month less than my last one (which were kind of low for a van anyway), and this one will be paid off only 2 years later than the old one. Maybe an Impala next time.........if I can stay away from the hogs...LOL H. > > > > > > Well, It doesn't look like the lady that owns that ole hog that > > came > > > flying at me is going to be held responsible. Guest guest
, That's fantastic that you've found some understanding/help from a dealership. I hope they, and your family, have a long term relationship of continued repeat business. There's no shame in a business understanding customer's special needs and circumstances and those customers rewarding that understanding with loyalty. Not having a car and/or having car issues is a great way to stress your life. I'm glad yours and your family's life will have a little less stress in this area. Hopefully pigs stop flying for you now too. Mike in GR > > Well, It doesn't look like the lady that owns that ole hog that came > flying at me is going to be held responsible. Guest guest
Hi , I do not blame you for wanting the Impala. That is one of the nicest cars on the road right now and if we ever buy another car, it will definitely be the Impala, and preferably the SS model because of my need for speed and how sharp that model looks, but would definitely take the LT model too.
