Guest guest Posted October 25, 2004 Report Share Posted October 25, 2004 Congratulations Grandma, Oh I loved holding Katelin when she was little, would always say Mom if you get tired of holding her I can take her, I would look at her and say I could just sit and hold her for hours. She is learning to talk on the phone so tonight put the speaker phone on and she was talking away about her pumpkin and Boo her kitty and she kept telling that Nana was on the phone. She will be 2 2days after Christmas. You did good describing the feelings and the joy and love only grow, when you see them roll over, crawl and walk and say Grandma, Nana or whatever name they will call you. I think I am enjoying her so much, because this time around I know how fast these days are gone and I am going to spend as much time as her parents will let me. They always worry that I am only watching her because I don't want to let them down, we tell them that this is our Granddaughter and any time we get to see her we jump at it, I think they finally got it, I told that if I could I would watch her every day for her to help with babysitting costs but with my legs it is a little hard to keep up with her somedays. Okay I won't write a book on this I will only say again Lin -- Re: busy day! trying again And I wondered if it's possible to love a grandchild even more than her. , Being a new grandma (Jake will be 11 mos. old net week already!) I can tell you that YES, it is possible. I am filled with such joy and love whenever I see, hold, think about Jake. He is the absolute best thing on earth. Guest guest Posted November 4, 2004 Report Share Posted November 4, 2004 Just to get into this interesting conversation, which must say, makes me thrilled mine are grown, but must warn you all thatthis is never over worry about kids, kids acting sort of like they left their brains and common sense somewhere else. And for me my kids both,and have a son and daughter, well they waited until went to college to choose to be totally insane. Was no thrill for any of us. Not sure but do believe they caused each gray hair and wrinkle. Know this is subject from few weeks ago, but heck have over 400 emails and just scrolled down and saw this one. Hope it is okay to respond now, since you all were done talking about this. Take care you all, and Sheri think it is funny how have your daughter come and walk back without stomping. Also just that she comes and says sorry, well you have great kid there. Tonia, do not worry, you will do fine and later on when girls grown you will have lots of good times. And Petey will end up protecting you and boys when young love their mommas alot. Hope today finds each of you and kids doing well.
