Hi everyone! :)

I know we all have our own opinions, and truly

believe what we think to be true, BUT you have to

remember that not everyone will agree with yours. That is

what makes us individuals. It is OK to have a different opinion.

One thing that comes to mind is this:Although you may not always

agree with my thoughts, or feelings or opinions, please respect me

for at least having my own, and being an individual. I do not ask

you to conform to my beliefs, but do not judge me for they truly are

my own and I deserve as do you the respect we should all have for one

another!

Beauty is in the one of the beholder. Do you see the beauty in all

things? Look beyond the physical and you will see a depth of beauty,

which you have never experienced. Take time to " really " see. Take

time to look with more than just your eyes!

Each of us has a different reason for

having this surgery, BUT in the end we

all want the same thing. To be healthier,

live a more happy productive life, and to

look and feel better about ourselves.

Society has created these " standards " and makes

people believe if they do not fit into these standards

they are fat, over weight etc...PLEASE PLEASE DO not

let anyone tell you how you should feel about your body,

or how you should look, what weight you SHOULD be etc...

It is your body and you will know. I would rather be

185 lbs and healthy then 335 lbs and unhealthy. Of course

I want to look great as well as feel great, BUT I know

lots of people who are healthy and happy and LOOK great even

though they are 20, 30, 40 lbs OVERWEIGHT. It all depends

on you and your body.

As a new person on this list, I want you to know a lot

of what has been said as scared the hell out of me. More so

than ever before. I am now second guessing myself, which I have

never done before. I am scared like all of you, and want the best

results possible. As a self pay I am speding a lot of time, money

and stress over this, but in the end I know it will be worth it.

The thought of being healthy again, it almost too much to think

of! I am SO excited that I found all of you and DR.R. I have not

talked to him yet, but know he is the right suregon for me. Thank

you to everyone who has responded to my questions. AND thank you for

reading this very long email. This all is MY opinion, and if you

do not agree with it, I will not apologize for having it, but will

always listen to yours.

Thanks for listening!!!

Not quite yet, but we're getting there. I'm waiting until I'm the weight I

was when I got married, then I'll do it. That should be another week or two

from now.
