New/Looking for Doctor

Hello:

Thank you for allowing me to join this group. I am a

friend of someone with diabetes and am searching for a

primary care doctor in the Greenbelt, land area.

Greenbelt is just outside of Washington, DC. We need

to find a doctor who is reachable by bus.

If any of you might be able to make suggestions --

either names or ways of finding a truly good doctor --

I would be forever grateful.

I am trying to find a doctor with a lot of experience

in this disease. My friend is very ill and is

presently in the hospital. At this point, major organs

are being affected by the diabetes. In fact, there are

so many complications that it seems whenever one is

seen to the others are left in the dust. The ideal

doctor would be able to begin to put the whole picture

together and help my friend get the treatment he needs

and deserves.

Hi Windy,

I do not live in that area so cannot recommend any doctors. I suggest that

you talk with someone at the hospital. I'm sure they can make

recommendations. You probably want an endocrinologist for your friend.
