Chrissy,

I sure wouldn't go and want to see a doctor with a personality of a Gorilla with PMS......AND have to pay that much for it!

I went to Chicago to see a Anesthesiologist RSD Specialist to get Diagnosed.....and I paid $1264 for my first visit! I was there for 5 hours.....I had a Thermography done, the Clinical Testing, and the Psychological testing done. BUT, I only seen the Doctor for maybe 30 minutes out of the whole 5 hours....and that was during the Clinical Testing and towards the end when he explained what RSD was and what he wanted to do for me. Otherwise I only seen the Technician that did the Thermography, the Psychologist and the Resident (it was a teaching hospital that this Doctor was at).

So, compared to my first appointment that I had to pay for by cash up front before even seeing the doctor......yours doesn't seem like its that much to me, but, I know that it's a lot of money really. I'd kill for $300 right now! lol and I sure wouldn't spend it on doctor appointments either!!! (ok, I'm in a shopping mood right now.....lol)

But, all GOOD Doctors ARE Expensive......the more Expensive, the Better they are supposed to be. BUT, When someone tells you that a Doctor has the bedside manners of a bedpan full of crap.....RUN the other way as fast as you can NO MATTER WHAT anyone else says!

That Doctor will do nothing for you but put you in more Pain than you are already in....both Physically and Mentally. I've been there before myself.....I know what its like. I know that you are desperate to finally find a doctor that "knows" what they are doing......but, sometimes that isn't a good thing.

PLEASE, take the time and check out the other doctor in the area that is Board Certified......sometimes for those who wait, Good things happen for them.......

and, it may just be your turn.....IF you wait.

We've all been thru the mill with Rude, Inconsiderate, brainless, dimwitted, Ignorant S.O.B Doctors that thinks they know what they are doing....but in the end all they know is nothing except that they have a Uncooperative patient in their Office that is Crying and Screaming because they are in Pain that is all in their Heads.....

I'm just trying to save you the same troubles that most of us have already been thru.....

DON'T go to that Appointment.......

Wait and try to get an appointment with the other Doctor......save yourself the extra pain and trouble.

Tonia

Okay Chrissy I have to tell you of a doctor out here who is infamously known for his testimony about the fact that there is no such thing as RSD at all and that most of the time it is in their heads. His initial visit was going to cost $4000.00, after researching him and finding some unpleasant stuff I canceled it, but ended up having to see him anyway because my insurance company wanted him to do an Independant Medical Evaluation. He was a jerk! So whatever you decide to do, you should have somone go with you.
