Thank you Jen, Lana, Mike, Barb, Tia, Sharon, Patty, Bonnie, Betty, Jo,

Sue, Cheri, , , Sorry if I forgot some one. Thank you all that have

responded, and those of you that didn't and are here for me anyway.

Thanks to all. I so love this place. The support and understanding. I told a few

of you I would get back to you today, But I will be off line soon this evening.

Hubby has to try again to figure out this new fax/scanner/printer.

Dylan and I saw his Phsyc Dr today. He wanted to know what was new <g> I told

him of the situation about the primary. He apparently was not surprised. He

suggested just moving on and not to expend the energy trying to fill the old Dr

curiosity of what EDS is all about. He though it best to just let it go and

spend the energy finding a new Dr. for him. I am so tired and so stressed, that

is what I am going to do. But I thank you all so much for offering to personally

help. I love the way this place can pull together. We are all so much stronger

as a group. A Drs name fell in my lap today. I will check him out Monday. And

Yes Lana the Dr is young and just starting his own medical practice. And a good

word from the patients he does have. I got his name from a nurse that I am

helping research about EDS.

So today was productive. Good visit with a DR, new Dr to interview, SSA papers

in hand to fill out, Also a phone number to call about getting an income for me

to take care of Dylan since I can no longer work. We lost more than 50% of the

house hold income now that I need to stay home. Dylan's Migraine is starting to

break, so I'd say this was a good day! Tired stressful, but productive. Time to

move on and find the help we need. I could never have gotten as far as I have

in understanding all this with out you all. Now I have to rest so I can do it

all again. Hugs and kisses to you all. Cindy C.

Sharon Replies: (<LOL> <he he he>)

the good thing I think about a " New " young doctor is that they are

usually still willing and eager to learn, they don't YET usually

thhink they know everything and they take on complicated patients as

a challenge, they are willing to look it up and learn (or they CAN

be), and they have newer, fresher and HOPEFULLY more information on

EDS and what treatmentsd and medicaitons and such are out there for

many conditions.

So maybe you can break this new guy in to be one of the EDS

knowledgeable doctors in your area and an advocate to you and your

family and to other complicated patients with or without EDS.

Good Luck and I have everything crossed that I can (without injuring

myself) that this new guy will be PERFECT for you both (and hey, him

being so young etc may make Dylan more comfortable with him and more

willing to open up and maybe e=one day trust him (although trust is

something that is EARNED and not given away to doctors).

Good Luck (You and Dylan SURE DESERVE it).
