Sounds like a wonderful day! I love looking after little ones, they

make you forget all about how you're feeling when you look into their

small innocent faces. Of course you will remember later :) Glad you

had a great day.

Ginny and I went back into Salem today and played tourists. The town

was packed! Had a great time and must have walked for close to 3

hours! We went back to her house and Ginny made dinner...her chicken

fingers and fried zuccini are AWESOME!!!!!!! Thanks again Ginny! We

topped it off with ice cream sundaes at Brighams (Thanks Allan) Love

you both!! It was a great day!

Today is drizzly damp day and I get to spend about 2 hours of it

cheering for the football team..ick! I cant complain though, they

have 2 games left and this is really the first cruddy day they have

had.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend..talk soon!

Hugs

> Just to let you know, we're having an absolutely beautiful day

here! Temp is nice, sun is shining--of course it's the second time

we've had sunshine in a whole week (yesterday too)! I should be

outside instead of scrapbooking, but that's what I want to do.

>

I'd much rather have been inside...the girls only cheered for about

1/2 hr before the other teams squad left....no word from the coaches

to our team, they just up and walked off the field and left...so our

girls who were going to stick it out til half time we told to go

home..YAY..but rude of the other team I think (just my opinion). Too

bad that it was already too late for my aching muscles.....I think it

has officially spread to my scalp :( I cant run a brush through it

without pain, not headache pain, just plain dont touch me pain.

Blah!! Oh well, the weather man is saying sunshine sometime tomorrow.

Hopefully it will make me feel better LOL.

Glad you're enjoying your scrapbooking ..sounds like your having

a blast!

And I wondered if it's possible to love a grandchild even more than her.

,

Being a new grandma (Jake will be 11 mos. old net week already!) I can tell you that YES, it is possible.

I am filled with such joy and love whenever I see, hold, think about Jake. He is the absolute best thing on earth. I forget everything else when I cuddle with him..

Yup, obsessed, that is me! LOL.

Hey Ginny and Donna,

My daughter, Jill was in Salem yesterday too! Did you see her? She was with a couple of friends... LOL.

Jill lives up in Ct, and I think this was her first trip to Salem. It's been YEARS since I've been there, and should go again, as I remember enjoying it.

Hmm.. that could have been Jill! Tee Hee.

My husband and I plan on going up in the spring, when it's warmer... getting too cold for me to do anything outdoors. Only 50 here today, damp and chilly. YUK

Jo

You should Jo--that way you could meet Donna and Ginny, and also have the best tour guides available in town!

The one we stayed at in Wakefield--Best Western was pretty nice, free breakfast that was good. Since we get government rates, I'm not sure what the rate would be. There are other categories you might fit into. It wasn't very far from Salem. Donna and Ginny may have someone closer. Sounds like when we were there they are pretty filled up.

Donna - Hey, you get yourself one of those fake grass mats to sit on (you know, the plastic green stuff) and I think you're on to something :) Tricia (who, despite knowing the excitement of a Fenway Park celebration, sincerely hopes there won't be need for a Game 6.)Donna wrote:Only if by field level you mean in front of my big screen tv...LOLHugsDonna

the world series with the Red Sox playing ..4500...seeing the Red

Sox win in game 6 of the world series..Pricelss...

Ginny -

If I had the time and the extra $$, I'd be there...that experience

would be worth every nickel. It's pretty hard to imagine at this

point that the Sox are even going to have to play a 6th game.

They're swinging hot bats, their pitching's great and I'm sure that

they've settled down enough that they won't be committing 4 errors

per game any more! I'm looking forward to watching them pop the

champagne and to watch the long-suffering fans have something to

cheer about. On that note, I of course have in my prayers the

family of that poor young lady that was killed in the crowd the

other night and also that everyone celebrates with great joy but

also with safety. I'd still like to take the 100 dollar tour

though. Maybe a stroll through some scary witch places topped off

by a good cup of coffee! I hope you're having a painless day and

that you and yours are enjoying yourselves!

Peace, love and pain relief!!!

I think that the whole situation Cliff was simply awful! There was no

reason for the fans to get out of hand like that...to celebrate in

the streets is one thing, to destroy public and personal property and

cause so much chaos that it was even necessary for police action

coming down to a situation like that is simply atrocious! I hope that

those who go out for these last games keep that young girls memory

clear in their minds when they are out celebrating or sadly if they

should do the unthinkable and lose. We do not need another lose of

life over what should have been a celebratory time. Act responsibly

please!

I think we could definetely hook you up with a good cup of coffee but

SCARY houses are few and far between (even during Halloween they are

pretty lame LOL) still we would be happy to show you the sites of the

North Shore.
