titinum, please help!!!!!!!!!!!

i am getting soo confused. titinum is in the list of harmful ingredients but

it is in sunblocks and is not a chemical filter. good or bad, i know it gets

used to colour paint!

HELP!!!

any comments on this?

TITANIUM DIOXIDE is valued as a natural sunscreen and reflecting agent

against the full spectrum of the sun's damaging rays. A powder mined from

titanium ore, very effective UV blocker. Safe for your skin and the

environment. Is that the same as your " titinum " ?

you probably mean titanium dioxide. it is a physical sunscreen i.e.

reflect the suns rays by the natural affect of the molecules (as opposed

to chemical sunscreens which try to absorb and disperse the sun's effect).

TiO2 (=titanium dioxide) is a popular physical because of low ittitancy.

It is second in popularity to Zinc Oxide as a physical sunscreen. Sadly it

is the overall formulation that is important as a sunscreen may have a

mixture of both physical and chemical elements.

For those who have reactions to for eg. octyl methocinimate, a pure

physical sunscreen can be an alternative.

There are some good messages in the list highlights about sunscreens. See

I have found PreSun's Sun Block 28 to be the best for my skin, and its

primary ingredient is Titanium.

Like all Resacea treatments, each must be tried by each individual to see

what works best. Titanium works well for me. Good luck.
