Hi everyone!

- I'm glad to know you will be there on the 3rd as well!! I'm

so excited!

I've spent the evening on the phone with my brother & sister telling

them about the surgery and what's in store for me. They were both

really supportive but I think put out a bit because I didn't tell

them sooner. Oh well, they'll get over it!

I'm staying at the Embassy Suites in Cary. One of my tax clients is

the general manager of the one here in ton (WV) and he got me

the employee rate - $39 a night! He told me the rooms go for $179!!

It's farther away than Homewood Suites, but I just couldn't pass up

the deal.

The question with pictures - I had my boyfriend take them and I wore

a white t-shirt, pink shorts and tennis shoes without socks. I was

standing in my kitchen against a wall painted light yellow. He took

a million shots, front, back, both sides, 3/4, facial closeups,

facial sides, sitting down, etc. We also took a set of nude ones

(ugh!) for reference later. They were awful, but necessary for me, I

think.

I just read Fanney's post. Fanney, you are a beautiful person and we

all greive with you. Your words of encouragement in spite of your

pain are very powerful and mean so much to all of us out here

wondering whether the risk is worth the benefit. Thank you so much

for everything that you are. You are also a wonderful writer and

should really consider publishing some of what you have written. I

look forward to the day when you feel that you can once again join in

the daily conversations and grace with your prose.
