HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Hello!!!

Sorry I haven't been around the last 2 days. I thought I had bowling

yesterday, again like last Wed but this time I called someone before

leaving. But we were all ready to go so went into town anyway. Went to

IHOP for a late breakfast and then went to the bank, a shopping mall,

Sears, Sam's club, groc store and then even though I didn't have league

the girls and Niki's boyfriend Arturo wanted to go bowling so we did

that then headed home to change clothes, take the dogs out and stuff

and then left for the New Years party at our friend 's house.

Had a blast! Drank and ate waaay too much! Have been doing that since

Niki and Arturo got here. He's been making us pina colada's like every

night and we have been eating out a lot and going to movies and having

popcorn...... you get the idea. Not been good. Have not even tried. I

am sure I have gained. I'm not going to weigh myself until Monday. Niki

and Arturo head back tomorrow night. Well actually sat morning, ya know

what I mean. Anyway.

Today didn't go anywhere. Just stayed home and caught up on some

housework. Vacuumed, shampooed the carpet. The animals had some

accidents the last week or so. Did a bunch of dishes, made breakfast

for everyone. I made grilled ham and cheese sandwiches on rye the other

night and Arturo really liked it and wanted that for breakfast so I

wound up making 4 of them. Then they all went for a drive looking for

moose, LOL this is soo funny, any other time we see them all the time

without even looking for them but have a guest here and go out looking

for them, do we see them???? Nooooooo! Arturo is convinced they are

some mythical creature like the unicorn, LOL. Anyway then they went for

pie at a coffee shop and to the groc store. I stayed home. I planned on

getting on here but fell asleep. Ok, I was a bit hung over today, I

admit it. Then swept and mopped the kitchen.

Niki's boyfriend, Arturo, looks like this might be " the one " ! He has

been fitting in really well with us and our friends at the party last

night. In fact, kind of funny today, after they left I got some

spaghetti sauce I had made a few weeks ago and froze going in the slow

cooker, took out some garlic bread. Well they call me from the groc

store and Arturo says not to make anything for dinner because he wanted

to make me spaghetti! I thought that was funny that we both thought of

the same thing. So I'd say he is fitting in real well, even if he is a

New Yorker! LOL

Anyway, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!! Don't beat yourselves up over anything

during the holidays. They are done. Now you have a new year to work on

things. I am a bit upset with myself because last New years I was

around 206-208 and now, last I checked I'm about 218. Probably 220 now.

But what's done is done. I'm ready to get serious again, after Niki and

Arturo leave of course. :-) We can do this!!!!!!
