My husband had trigger finger. The doctor gave him a shot initially and

that worked for a while. When it started getting bad again, they did surgery

to

" release " the finger. Everything is still okay after the surgery.

I have had a few cases of mild trigger finger and my chiropractor has

been able to adjust it away.

I guess I'm in the bad news bit of a trigger finger. Thanks to the nhs I had to

wait a long time for my op. During the op the surgeon said he had never seen

such tight tendons. While the op was successful and the finger no longer

catching, it is still bent, but without pain.

I've have physio but she can't do anything else for me. I wear a splint at

night. A new problem has come up and I don't know it is due to the splint/op or

diabetes. My ring finger and little finger are very pins and needles almost all

of the day.

I go back to see the surgeon on the 16th.
