Jo,

You will find that many doctors who do not know EDS well, will offer things

that may or may not be appropriate - and this is so frustrating! Professor

Bird will really clear things up for you I am sure, he's well known and

respected in the field and knows EDS well. Perhaps with his help, you can

establish treatment protocols for the other doctors you see to help make

future trips to the hospital and treatment by doctors who may not know EDS

well, a bit easier...
