Hey Cash,

Congratulations on all of your accomplishments! Wow, you really made some

significant progress-you must feel so good not only to see changes, but to

know that you completed a challenge. I don't blame you for wanting to enjoy

the outdoors right now, it sounds likeyou've got some fun, exciting

activities planned for the spring/summer seasons!

I'll sure miss all of your interesting and informative posts, but I look

forward to hearing about your post BFL experiences, too! :-) LIsa

hi Naomi,

I'm 6' 5 " tall.

About 10 years ago, I weighed 197. At that time, I was wearing a 36 "

waist with plenty of room. I still have the pants in my " target "

pile. And, I felt I could be in even better shape. So, i know my

goals are realistic (even though for some, that may sound pretty

lightweight).

Congratulations Cash! Excellent results. I'd recommend continuing

to measure body fat every three to four weeks, so that you can

respond if you start back tracking on all the great progress you've

made. Resistance training once a week for each muscle group should

work fine as long as you do so with intensity and eat properly. All

the best! Kit

We took Luli into her 4mo. well baby check. Dr STILL won't do x-rays for neck or u/s on hips!!! @@ I am resolved to the fact that either:

a) These drs are morons and it won't be fixed till we get new insurance or pay out of pocket to see other drs

B) These drs are geniuses and wizards and Luli will magically be better by her 1st b-day

c) These drs are geniuses but not really wizards, she will be better by her 1st b-day, there is nothing terribly wrong, she's fine and I'm hyper sensitive

d) For some unknown reason God doesn't want our dd diagnosed just yet and so I need to be patient

Whatever the case - I've come to the conclusion that for now there is nothing to be done. I will continue with the PT/OT - and if in the next few months her head gets worse - BEFORE her b-day - then I will point it out.

For my own sanity and the sanity of my family I think this is best.

THANK YOU!!!! To all those with the best advise and discussions - you have all educated me and inspired me!

I second that. my son would still have a lopsided head with tort if I listened to my ped. I wouldn't stop till I got an answer. I KNEW there was something wrong! I have been called an anxious parent, over protective, to tired to think what else I have been called lol.

Or you could fire your current doctor and find one who is educated

about plagio. It is 100% your choice whether or not you band your

baby. It's not the doctor's decision to make. Would you let your

dentist tell you, you couldn't get orthodontics when you clearly

needed them? Don't give up!

We had a hip u/s done, but we had to pay out of pocket for it. that

is what we wanted though so we went ahead with it. Make sure your

in a good time frame, b/c hips are time sensitive. If you catch it

early then the tx will be ok, but later on there is nothing they can

do anymore for displaced hips.
