Guest guest
Hi all, I have noticed lately that my (distance) vision is getting worse. I can really tell when reading street signs and when I'm at work or the gym things are kind of " odd " . I also notice that my night vision is much worse lately. Do you think it's due to the fact that my glucose readings average 250 and have for some time, the fact that I haven't had a new prescription in over two years, or a combination? I will be making an appointment for an eye exam soon and will be sure to tell them I have type 2. I will be getting meds soon too so my glucose should go down (I hope). It's really bothering me, and it's been the last 3 months or so. Any suggestions until then? ~Kim Ban the Can! Soda-pop free since 1.17.05 Counting Calories? If I was you, I would change that soon to ASAP. Drew T2 since '

Guest guest
Losing my eyesight was how they discovered my diabetes. I had no other signs except within a week I totally lost my sight. I had been to the eye doctors for new contacts only 3 weeks eariler and nothing and then about 2 weeks later I had trouble seeing and thought I got the wrong contacts. Called and said my contacts were wrong and he had me come in the next day but I wokde up blind. My sugars were in the 900's. They said they have never seen anyone have the losing eyesight as the first sign of diabetes, it's usually the last. So I would say yes to your diabetes being the cause of your vision being blurry. Get in and get it checked out. SOON. junediann > > Hi all, > I have noticed lately that my (distance) vision is getting worse. Guest guest
Oh my gosh - I'm so sorry about your vision loss. Has any of it come back with getting your sugars controlled?
