thumb MCP fusion adhesions

The adhesions are taking a longer than I think it should to loosen up under the

incision for fusing the middle joint of my thumb-It's frustrating to say the

least!

I've been out of the cast for three weeks now- after 6 weeks casted after

surgery.

I'm in PT and have been doing my exercises faithfully. But in the past 1.5 weeks

it hasn't bent one iota further. It's barely at 45 degrees flexion and that's

done with lots of pain and pull.

<Arrrggggghhhhhh> frustration!

Any one been through this?

Thanks for any input and/or experience. I'd sure appreciate it.
