Guest guest
I'm Mike and I'm a diabetic in Boston, MA. I saw this site on yahoo and thought I'd give it a try. It looks very interesting. I read through the past posts and saw a lot of wisdom. Anyway... it's New Years Eve and tomorrow I'm going to give it a real shot. IT meaning exercise, diet, the whole works... I've gained a lot of weight in the past few months. I'm type two, on glyburide and glucophage, and the past few weeks my blood sugars have been very high. My AC1 is 10.0, not good, and I'm going to get serious. A couple of questions for discussion: does anyone have a workout routine that works well for them? I have access to a gym with Nautilus, but really have to say I'm not in good shape. What are some good starting workouts? How about diet? What works for people? I love sugar, and will struggle to give it up, but gotta try. I realize that people can provide strength and support and I'll need some for a while. Thanks for any help you can give me. I'll check in later.
