Guest guest
Hi Mike, I am 6 weeks pregnant & I was wondering if there is any way massage can help with feeling sick. I haven't actually vomited but the feeling of sickness is that intense that it is putting me off my food. Or does anyone else know anything that may help,I've tried eating ginger biscuit(supposed to help).

Guest guest
> Hi Mike, > > I am 6 weeks pregnant & I was wondering if there is any way massage can help with feeling sick. There are a number of acupressure points that can be used to relieve many of the discomforts of pregnancy, including morning sickness. Considering the number of - guess what, me too - emails over the last few days, these will be a priority for me in building that photo file. But one way or the other, with the photos or without, I will get something back to you on these this weekend. There are also other points that can be used for other discomforts, such as tired back or aching shoulders. In addition, there are other massage techniques and modalities that also work well for pregnancy aches and pains. And there are some things that you don't do to someone who is pregnant, including certain acupressure points. I intend to touch on all of these in a couple of write-ups later. Yes. That is what Tina Leaman, LMP gave to April Leaman when she was in the hospital. April said it was the only thing that kept April from having the dry heaves. Guest guest
I was very sick with nausea during all my pregnancies. They tell you to eat saltines when you first wake up. But, that didn't help me much. The ginger is a good one. You can eat it raw, take a pill, drink tea, etc. I think the tea helped me most. I like raw ginger, but don't really like the tea. But, it did help. You should give it a try. And, try to keep something in your stomache all the time. I know, it's not easy when you feel nauseous, but it does help. Guest guest
Hi Claire, The sea sickness bands that Jill suggested are very good for pregnancy related nausea - my cousin was really ill while carrying her first child and tried all sorts of things. She finally tried the wrist bands out of desperation and found they helped enormously. I hope that you find something that works well for you Darl and the nausea subsides soon. Take care. Love and hugs....Jo xxx
