Guest guest
Catalina, Hi. Thanks for the welcome Pardon my ignorance, but what is RA? RA is rheumatoid arthritis, an auto immune disease that effects the t cells, b cells and cytokins in your body causing them to think you are sick all the time and they continue to attack healthy tissue around the major joints in the body and other major organs. It is pretty painful when it flares up. I have some pictures up on our web site here http://www.burnettstradingpost.net/. Don't have pics of everyone up yet, but I can put some up if you want to see them Do you have anything specific in mind for weight loss? I need to lose 30 pounds at least. I weigh 158 now, am 64.5 tall, medium build. My back is messed up and this weight is too much for it to take, as well as the RA. I am in surgical menopause, on hrt...the androgens, and this makes it hard to keep a nice steady weight. I m only 40 and I feel like I am 80! I have been on LA Weight loss and this worked...awesome program if you have a lot of weight to lose, Weight Watchers...did not like this at all, I gained on this one and there wasn't any support in my area, the Atkins which is awesome also and it worked, but it isn't recommended for RA or lupis people . Right now I am just trying to get some kind of regimen going on my change of eating, I never say diet, I always look at it as changing my eating patterns.
