We just got 2 deer before the holidays and 2 more are waiting at the processessing plant for hubby to pick up this week. We get it cut all sorts of ways. I'm not that fond of the sausage, but I use it in/for everything else. Friends hunt for us, my husband hasn't held a gun since Vietnam. Are you using 'natural' or 'sugar-free' peanut butter? I actually prefer it to the high-sugar versions. To me it is much more filling, has a more " stick-to-your-ribs " taste, and therefore, I use less of it.
