I couldn't believe that she told me that either. I just said, Oh. Really? And then she laughed at me. lol She tried to teach me to crochet too, but my fingers didn't want to it. My other gram, who passed away about 10 years ago I think it was, did manage to teach me emproidery (sp?) though. I do that alot on my good concentration days.
