She is now one year old and we have seen slight progress. She hasn't had a major growth spurt. She did all of her growing when she was younger. My daughter's plagio is very mild and I am undecided if I am continuing with the helmet or not. Right now I just have her wearing it at night. But the helmet can be effective up until age 2. It just depends on how much the child grows and the ortho. I would say to definitely give it a try. I think the earlier the better; however, 10 months is still younger than a year when their growth slows down. I do know people that have done the DOC band at older than 10 months and were pleased with the results.
