Guest guest
We brought Sammy into a new ortho today. It was the St. location of Hanger. We were so happy with the female ortho we got. She knew exactly what she was talking about had experience banding a lot of kids. She shaved some of the foam out of the helmet but left it a little on one spot because she said he needs it there but the other spots were a no, no. She also checked the rest of the helmet and gave us some tips. She fixed it so it set better on his head. We are going back next Tuesday to check up and see how it is going. The helmet is back on him. She apologized for the person in Burnsville. Thank everyone for your support. Sammy is enjoying having his Vikings helmet back and tomorrow we are starting with nap time and bed time for wearing it. Guest guest
Thanks for the well wishes. She said the most time we get him to wear it the better. He likes to wear it during the day so that is a good thing. Just have to get a really good fan still for bedtime so he won't get so hot. She agreed with people on this group about the body temp adjusting after awhile with the helmet on. Re: Went to New Ortho Hi , I'm glad to hear it went well.
