Tonia, Thank you for your condolences on my Gram. She was a wonderful person. I remember when I was 16, she said something to me that shocked the daylights out of me. I never expected her to say anything like that, to me or anyone else for that matter. I was complaining one day about having to shave my legs and she said that if I was lucky enough to be anything like her, that by the time I was 24 years old I wouldn't have to do that anymore. That by the time she was 24, she had lost all the hair on her body except for the hair on her head. And then she said, "I mean ALL the hair but that on my head". LOL I still can't believe that she said that! LOL Oops. I forgot this is going through the group. Oh well. I'm sure she won't mind. It is a happy memory. But if she does mind.......Sorry Gram.

That's so sad about your MIL. I'm so sorry that she is having such time. I'll send some prayers her way if you don't mind. I'll just ask for peace and comfort for Tonia's MIL, I'm sure He will know who I mean.

That is soooo weird that you said you have to clean your room today. I only read this post from you at about 11:45 tonight and guess what I did today? Cleaned my room too!!! That's kinda funny that we did the same thing today, don't ya think? I know, I'm weird. My husband tells me that I laugh too much about things that aren't even funny, but hey, when you hurt 24/7 sometimes you just have to laugh or you'll end up crying all time. So, I laugh. After all, they say it IS the best medecine. lol Hope you didn't overdo it today with your cleaning. Hugs, Faith

Sorry to hear about your Grandmother....I still have one left....but dunno >how much longer. As stubborn as she is, she'll probably live at least >another year or two though....lol....either that, or she'll go kicking and >screaming! > >The Holidays are always the hardest.....at least, last year was, because we >was so used to having my FIL there with us, and then all of a sudden he wasn >t. And, he lived for Halloween, Christmas and Easter. Those were his >favorite holidays.....he was more of a kid than the kids! > >At least this year, I don't plan on getting drunk on Halloween like I did >last year when he died.....I remember the hangover way too well....yuck! > >My MIL is totally different......on the Anniversary of when her youngest >Daughter died (Aug 12, 1983), and on her birthday (June 9), you stay clear >away from her. The same is going to be with the Anniversary of my FIL's >death, their wedding Anniversary and his birthday. Those days, all she did >last year was cry all day. On their Anniversary and his birthday, she sat >out at the Cemetery and cried. So, I doubt if this year will be any >different.......which means I'm keeping the kids home because she won't >remember whether they are at her house or not.....she'll just walk out the >door and leave, and leave the kids there without an adult in the house. > >And, yeah, the weather isn't helping. I've been in a flare up the past >couple of days because of it. Walking isn't a good thing lately.....and I >need to clean my bedroom so that I can get rid of a few things and bring >home a new night stand that my MIL is getting rid of. I just need to find >the energy to actually do the cleaning. > >Which, I might as well go and start in doing it now I guess.....or I'll >never get it done! > >Thanks Faith... > >Tonia Find the music you love on MSN Music.
