Guest guest
He called me earlier tonight to see an area on his leg/groin that is really bothering him. Well it's getting much worse as the hour has past. Now he can't stand it. He says it is defiantly the skin. On the leg right where the leg and pubic hair meet in the leg crease. At first I thought maybe it was a stretch mark about to appear again. That is a big problem for him. Just before they appear, he is in great discomfort. But this seems different. We,ve tried cocobutter, a heating pad, a wet hot washrag. nothing helps. He can't move without extreme pain.He hurt there not moving at all. Any clue what is happening? Cindy C. Guest guest
Hi Cindy, Is the area red or hot to touch? Are there red streaks coming out from it? Is it swollen looking? Did he have any skin irritation a scrape or cut there before this started?

Guest guest
Hi , I see nothing, but as close as it is to his genitals, as a mom, dealing with an almost 17 year old boy, I don't know if I should get that close to touch. No scrapes, or irritation, no swelling, no redness, no lines coming from it. hot? I don't know. Do I dare cross that boundry? He is absolutely miserable, with pain from this skin area that I can not see anything. I'm surprised he had me look at it. He is generally to shy. If I were to touch the area, he would have to move his genitals to the side. Cindy C. Re: Dylan again Hi Cindy, Is the area red or hot to touch? Are there red streaks coming out from it? Guest guest
Well I have to think my first instint was right. A nasty huge stretch mark has appeared, well, in the process of appearing. ( according to him. I havent looked today) For him they appear over night. I suppose what he was experancing was the skin ripping. His stretch marks are bad and appear fast, I just didn't think they would hurt this much. Being on methadone and Dilaudid, I would think he couldn't feel any thing, but this pain was too much to handle. Today it is manageable, if he sits naked. He sees the Dr Monday for the Blood in the stool, this new pain, and MRI results on his knee. Thanks . We just have to wait. Again' > Hi Cindy, > I'm so sorry! Guest guest
--- In ceda , " Barbara J. Uggen- " <kdavis@d...> I just never looked that closely at my own butt before to notice them. I don't know why not - with EDS it would have been easy enough for you to do.
