Guest guest
It could be your diet Caro! Nails that crack, peel and chip easily mean you need more protein and minerals in your diet. Nails that are very bendable could be a sign of rheumatoid arthritis. Jill
Guest guest
My nails are also so soft that the individual layers just split apart <eek> I cannnot use the for anything really. Vitamins B and E are supposed to be VERY good for them, here in OZ Vegemite is said to be GREAT for nails (You eat it by the way). Vitamin E is great for nails, but it is also a blood thinner. I find that when I take it, I bruise more. There is a great vitamin E oil for nails made by Sally Hansen in the states. That usually helps my nails stay healthy. My mother-in-law sent us some vegemite for Christmas. My husband keeps insisting we all try some, but I haven't seen HIM putting it on his toast in the morning. -Barb
