It could be your diet Caro! Nails that crack, peel and chip easily mean you

need more protein and minerals in your diet. Nails that are very bendable

could be a sign of rheumatoid arthritis.

My nails are also so soft that the individual layers just split apart

<eek> I cannnot use the for anything really.

Vitamins B and E are supposed to be VERY good for them, here in OZ

Vegemite is said to be GREAT for nails (You eat it by the way).

Vitamin E is great for nails, but it is also a blood thinner. I find that

when I take it, I bruise more. There is a great vitamin E oil for nails

made by Sally Hansen in the states. That usually helps my nails stay

healthy.

My mother-in-law sent us some vegemite for Christmas. My husband keeps

insisting we all try some, but I haven't seen HIM putting it on his toast in

the morning.

Vitamin E is great for nails, but it is also a blood thinner. I find that
