Guest guest
Shan has been on the diet for over 2.5 years. Believe it or not, her last lab work was done nearly 2 years ago. She had lab work done prior to moving to Australia but her present neuro has not felt like she needed lab work done. Her ratio since moving here has been around 1.5. Presently it is 1:1. About 6 months ago I told him that it was probably a good idea to get a 24 hour EEG and lab work done. He said we could do it the next appointment which is next Monday. I'm guessing that we should have been monitoring her more closely especially with the findings that the diet could possibly cause osteoporosis etc. So, besides getting the routine electrolytes (potassium, sodium, chloride etc.) and CBC, what do you recommend we get? Guest guest
I think there is a list of bloodwork I posted a long time ago saved in the files sections, what we got done every six months. if you are worried about calcium issues (shouldn't be too much of a problem on such a low ratio though) ask for a 24 hr urine, measuring calcium, protien and creatine. The calcium/creatine ratio will tell you whether she is peeing out too much calcium , 's mom Rhonda Ackerman wrote: > > > Shan has been on the diet for over 2.5 years.
