Adolescent Workshop for Mainstreamed Kids

Hi all - hope it's ok to use this list to let you all know about events. My

child is little, but where he goes for audiology and therapy, the League for

the Hard of Hearing in NYC is having an all day workshop for mainstreamed

kids in the fifth to eighth grade and their parents on Sunday, Nov 12. Most

of the kids who go are probably oral but you can find out more information

by emailing dwatkins@.... It's not expensive and I've heard that the

kids enjoy it. Some of the time parents and kids are together and then they

split up - the kids do some kind of fun activity and the parents get

together for a sort of support group.
