Guest guest
I used to use hotdogs, products with nitrate etc in, (or things like processed cheese slices as opposed to 'real' cheese') very rarely - only for special occasions or when I couldn't get to eat the other protein sources I was trying for, like chicken etc. After a while though I worried he was gonna turn into a chicken if he ate much more of it, so I slowly added these types of foods (ham, lunchoen meat) in more often, and he has been okay with them. Our hospital is not big on restricting those types of foods, but I know from reading on here that many are. You can get some bacons that are nitrate/additive free, haven't seen any here in NZ, but maybe that might be an option until you know whether there is gonna be any adverse reaction from the other types, and then add diff ones in one at a time when no other diet or med changes are being made, ----- Original Message ----- From: dreamerofluna How often do you give processed meats?
