Guest guest
Just one thing, in Arkansas usually get snow each year just never know how much but thing we get most that just devastes us is ice. Last big storm still can see the damage in Memphis etc. as trees 100 years old destroyed, took 3 weeks or more for electricity and highs were in 20's....we got a room in our town finally and lost all our food, trees damaged home, payed alot to have people cut tree branches and take them away. Trying to get Russ to buy a generator in case need one. Just hate being cold and hate ice worse than snow anytime. When lived in Iowa snow could keep you home sometimes but like here it was the ice that got us. Well just my thoughts, ya'll take care. Oh my Momma just got here, flew in from Virginia Beach and will be here all week. So again, please anyone that has something you know I would be wanting to know, if wrote me directly, just please resend information in few days as going to have to delete as over 440 emails. No way can I get to them especially as have 3 doctor appts. this week and with Momma here will take even more time. Hugs to all. JoAnn s Momma Re: Lin/Carla and cold weather Heck Lin, Our schools around here usually get about 10 or so snow days every year! 4 inches of snow around here isn't nothing. That's just a few flurries for us. If you really want some snow down there, maybe some of us 'northerners' could figure out a way to send you guys some! What do you think, Ginny? From the sounds of it, you get MORE tahn enough to share! LOL You can keep your rain though, Carla. I think I would rather have the snow. You don't get quite as wet from it! LOL Hugs, Faith Carla I am the same way, because we don't get much snow on the west side of >the Cascade mountain range. I love to watch it snow and drink so hot cocoa, >it is so peaceful, I know all you Northeasterners get sick and tired of snow > but we don't get enough to get sick of it, now we do get cold and rain, and >rain, and more rain etc etc. >My family was living near Houston in the early 70's when they got 4 inches >of snow, never seen a whole city just come to a stand still. That was >probably the only snow day my high school ever had Rock, jazz, country, soul & more. Find the music you love on MSN Music!
