Guest guest
I bought the Centrum Chewables in the berry citric flavor - it is like a sweet tart - I absolutely could not tolerate. I sent my daughter to the store for another type of chewables. She brought home flinstones fruit flavored and they aren't bad. I take 3 a day. Guest guest
pre-op here...... why would the doctors say " kids " chewable, I don't understand how a child's vitamin can have enough in it for an adult body. Any answers? Re: Kids chewable vitamins I used the Bugs Bunny Sugar free vitamins Donna....they weren't real tart...but I think ALL of the kids vitamins have a little tartness to them.....You know you could always buy a liquid vitamin..which aren't yummy either, but they're not as sour, just taste like cardboard with a touch of motor oil...LOL You can allways mix them in with something though.... Guest guest
My nutritionist had me start on two children's chewables a day after surgery. I started taking a prenatal everyday at one month post op. I then had to add two calcium tabs twice a day at three months post op. Now I'm taking a bulk multi-tab twice a day instead of the prenatal along with still taking the double dose of two calcium a day. I've had great blood work, no hair loss and only minor problems (a bout with constipation a couple weeks ago). I'd stick with what your nutritionist recommends. There is a bubble gum vitamin for kids. Maybe it's not sour? I have checked it out before but never bought it. I think it's pretty expensive. Guest guest
I was just wondering, with all the talk about the kids chewable vitamins, are the ones taking these just a few days or weeks out of surgery? I only ask because I was told I could take regular prenatal vitamins that you can find in CVS that you just swallow, and I'm almost 7 weeks post-op. Guest guest
I guess I'm a freak. I like the taste of childrens chewable vitamins. Here are the numbers for Flintstones Complete. These numbers are for 1 tablet and the %RDAs are for adults. I haven't compared them to the adult multis. I take D, B12, calcium and iron separate so I don't worry about those.
