Question ... I thought you all used crystal lite, etc. to mix protein drinks

with it. If it's just taken as a beverage, does it count toward the 64 oz of

daily water intake that's required? Thanks.

I can see early on monitoring your fluid intake closely because it's

hard to drink and eat with the time it takes to get it all down but a

few months post op I wouldn't think you'd need to be sweating

inclusion of a shake or two in your beverages.

Let's see if I sit and think about all I've had to drink today it

works out to about 120oz and that's lower than an average day (by

maybe 32-64oz). Just get used to drink a LOT of water and you'll feel

better and not have to worry about how much water you drink.

It's weird. I guess that sounds like a lot to drink but it's no big

deal really. Oh and I don't drink shakes; it's all water, crystal

lite, and 8+oz of V-8.

Yes it counts. Even the liquid in the protein shake counts. :-)
