Lin, That's wonderful that you got to drive and go shopping by yourself! I usualy don't shop by myself (it's no fun that way lol) but I'm the one that drives. I don't know what I would do if I ever got to the point where I couldn't. I really feel for Barbara. I can't drive very far anymore, it just kills my foot and ankle to be hanging down for very long, but I can drive to the neighboring town once or twice a week, that's where Walmart is. lol We just had a new Super Walmart that open there on Wednesday. It's replacing the regular store. I haven't gone there yet. I'm going to wait till all of the hoopla about it has calmed down a little first. I don't want to get ran over. lol I still haven't use my chair or the scooters from the store yet. Having a hard time accepting that I have to use them, but it's really starting to get hard to use the crutches for things like that. I'm starting to get really sore that way. I guess that I'm going to have to start to suck it up and use them. I'm supposed to anyway. That is one of the things that my stupid, don't know anything about rsd drs have told me, no more long trips on the crutches. I'm wearing out my good leg from being on these things for over 2 years. Mornings are better for me too. By the time about 3 or 4 in the afternoon rolls around, I'm pretty much done for the day. I get supper cooked and I'm finished. I even leave the dishes till morning. They get rinsed out, but I don't do them till morning. My foot is too far gone but then to even try. Hope you're not still sore today from shopping yesterday. Have a good day. Hugs, Faith

Have to say I totally understand how you feel Lin. Everytime, well not everytime, but alot of the time I go to Wal Mart or to womens clothing store in town, takes me forever, especially at Wal Mart, as look at all the make-up, clothes, things for kitchen, and whatever and husband cannot understand what can take me so long but just when go, means I feel half-way good, and like to go slow and just snoop around and enjoy being out of house.

Problem is to many times find stay to long and before I get to car am struggling either from heart, or pain in whole body. Hate that as when happens takes some of the joy away from enjoyment was having. Just glad doesn't happen all the time though.

I really feel for those of you, especially Barbara for now...know things will get better Barbara, just soon you will drive again, well anyway do think would be very emotional to not be able to drive. I am thankful even if is just in a 5 mile or so radius drive.

Well take care all and welcome to Carla, Melinda and any others new. Know each of you will find the help you need and all the support and comfort needed. Everyone have great day.
