That's got to be the worst blizzard I've ever heard of. Were you in Mass during

the hurricane in the '50s? We got only the tailend of it but it's the only one

I remember hitting New England so hard. I think Mass got the worst of it. The

city of Worcester comes to mind...

Dianne - I lived in New York in the 50's - we had one terrible hurricane that I

rememeber when I was in high school - we had a huge Maple tree in front of the

house and the wind blew so hard that the tree roots actually lifted the cement

sidewalk. Thought for sure that tree was coming down - but don't remember what

year that was.
