Hi everyone,

My name is my daughter Avery(4 months) has plagio and tort.

She just started with a Hanger band 5 days ago. She is adjusting

well. Anyway, can someone tell me what measurements are normal?

Her cephalic index is 94% and her cranial vault asymmetry is 12%.

What percentages are normal? What should we be hoping for at the end

of treatment? I have all these numbers and percentages but I am not

really sure what they mean.

Hi ,

my daughter has brachy, our ortho told us that 5% corrections was good

and 10% was great. the amount you get depends on when you start and

how much growth you can catch. You're starting early. My daughter's

was more severe (100%). I think she'll be done in about 1 more month

and will probably get about 10%. Her head looks so much better I

wouldn't mind stopping now, but want to see if we can do better. She's

been in the band 3 mo today and I am definitely sick of it, but can

stand one more month. If the ortho recommends continuing before that

I'm not sure what I'll do :-)

good luck,
