Guest guest
Here's a " cake " recipe that you might want to try. It gives a high volume with minimal calories, some protein, no fats, and little carbs. I served this to my daughter when my son had his birthday cake. I plan to use it more in the future for special occasions. It is so minimal in calories and carbs that I can serve a nice meal with it and not have to delete vegetable and meat in order for her to have " cake. " Ingredients: egg white, sweetner of choice Preheat oven to 350 deg. F (180 C). Whip egg whites until stiff. Add choice of sweetner while whipping (I use powdered stevia). Place stiff egg white on a nonstick pan (I still oil to ensure it wont stick) and place in oven for 15-20 minutes. This will brown the egg white. Then lower oven temperature to 200 deg. F (100 C) and bake for 1 hour. Serve as desired. I added a few strawberries and my daughter loved it. For those who can have whipped cream this is ideal for putting whipped cream on.
