Guest guest
Good Morning; As a member of the group I would like to post an invitation for fellow members to participate in a survey regarding quality of life following RNY/Lap Banding. The link posting will ask members if they would be willing to participate (voluntarily), and if they choose to do so they will be directed to a online survey site. The purpose of this study is to determine health related quality of life following a surgical weight loss intervention. The study will be fully approved by the Florida Atlantic University Institutional Research Board prior to this posting, and is completely non-funded / non-sponsored (no advertising bias). The information obtained by those group members who choose to participate is completely voluntary and anonymous. My hope is to publish the study as part of an effort to get major health insurers to recognize the improvement in health-related quality of life following surgical weight loss intervention. Thank you for considering this request; Dr. Sutton, EdD, RN
