Guest guest
Thanks Jai, I never turn down prayer. It would be nice to have the Social Security not be so complicated that you need to have a lawyer just to get through it From: RSD-CRPSofAmerica Date: 10/13/04 11:21:46 To: RSD-CRPSofAmerica Subject: Lin In a message dated 10/13/04 2:51:32 AM Pacific Daylight Time, RSD-CRPSofAmerica writes: I hope your wrist won't cause a lot of problems especially with your tripcoming up.We expect to hear all about it!!LinHi Lin,thank you for your well-wishes!! The trip is not till Feb and I cant wait! I am so sorry to hear about Social security. Just keep trying and see if maybe your docs could help you fill out some of the paperwork. Unfortunately the way it is set up you almost have to have a lawyer to get benefits. It is not right!!!! The money that should be your goes into the lawyer's pockets. We are starving to death and the lawyers are out on their yachts eating Filet Mignon and drinking Dom Perignon!! LOL!!!!!! I understand about the memory problems, hopefully going off of the Neurontin will help. Did the doc put you on something in its place? I will keep you and all in my prayers, Love Jai
Guest guest
Lin, I thought maybe because of me saying about being so close, but still so far away, to so many here in the group, that maybe with you being even farther away than I am, might have made you feel kinda bad. I sounded kinda whiney about it, but I didn't mean to. And then to realize that you are kinda out in no mans land with no one from the group around you as close as what people are to me, I just felt bad about it. That's all. But if you know Mark (the furball formally known as greybeard) you're not quite as alone after all. He's in Washington. Anyway, I just felt a little like a jerk about opening my big mouth. My foot tasted pretty good though! LOL And I agree, that doctor is paranoid! Or else very dumb. One of the two. lol Wish we could see your article. I think that it is great that you did one. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I've been trying to get one done for my hometown paper. It's a secret though, so don't tell anyone. I haven't told anyone yet about trying to get the paper around here interested. So, Shhhhhhhhhhhh. Don't tell no one. lol (I guess maybe I just did. lol) Hugs, Faith Faith, >What did you say that would make me feel bad?? Guest guest
Lin, I get that weird sensation on my leg too! It's like fluid or a bug going down your leg and no matter what you do, the feeling will not go away until it's good and ready to. It's enough to drive a person nuts! Sorry your pain has increased. Hopefully it's just the seasons changing that has everyone so miserable! You had better not over do getting things done. All that will do is make you hurt more. Although I'm sure you already know that, if you're like me, you still need to be reminded of that sometimes. lol Faith I am doing okay there has been an >increase in pain on both sides and I am getting the weirdest sensations on >both legs. Guest guest
Faith, I never even thought to take it that way. I know I am out here in the nether regions. Yes, I do know Mark, but I haven't heard from him, has anybody? He lives in the very top right hand corner. Well if you look at OR you will see the little corner piece, well I live up in there. Spokane is at the very least a 7 to 8 hour drive. Now don't worry I know that I live out here. I do have my daughters close by and most important Katelin. I would like to be able to watch her for every day, but I know that wouldn't work. LOL she is adorable but that mind of hers never quit. Guest guest
Ginny and Lin, I was on Topamax and could only take it right before I went to bed, because if I took it during the day I became extremely suicidal! All I could do is cry and get angry and upset about everything. If I took it at night I would sleep through the effects of the drug and would be fine! I also took the Neurontin that I felt did help me, but was on 3600mg. daily and it did make me very drousy and lost a lot of memory! I am glad that I am off of it now, because I feel that the methadone helps just as much and do not have all those side effects that I had before! Still have quite a bit of pain, but that could also be from other ailments. Who can tell with me anymore and all of my stupid illnesses! Well I hope all is well with everyone! I am having an extremely hard time right now and do not know what is going on in my head! Just hope it stops soon, because I cannot take much more of this depression!!!! I hope that everyone is doing well and having some pain free days! LOL and PRAYERS to ALL! Take Care! DawnGinny Barrientos wrote: Lin, I have heard topomax is another drug that helps with nerve pain. Guest guest
Lin, I talk with Mark all the time! Rhonda also! Between the yahoo messenger, e-mails and the phone, we three are almost always in contact with each other. We've become very good friends. Do you want me to let him know that you're thinking of him? I could do that for you if you want me to. I'm happy to hear that you have family close by. I take it Katelin is your granddaughter? If so, I know what you mean. I would watch my grandson, Donovan, all the time if I could too. But I do get to see him almost every day. He lives in the apartment upstairs from me with his mom and dad. His dad is my son. My daughter is moving into my building the first of Nov also. My husband and I are thinking about moving. LOL Just kidding. It'll be nice having them so close to me, I hope. lol But really, if you want to send a messege to Mark, just let me know. I'll pass it on for you. You can sent it to me directly if you want to. My e-mail is the same one I use for here, faithb69@.... You can also use that if you just want to talk privately with me. I'm going to go now. I'm finially getting tired. I've learned to sleep while the sleeping's good. lol Night. FaithYes, I do know Mark, but I haven't heard from him, has anybody? He >lives in the very top right hand corner.
