Guest guest
Will Corn Oil be ok to add? My planner doesn't have Canola Oil. > The more oil you add in, the less rock hard it sets - I have just made an ice cream now for using 12 mls canola oil mixed with 24 gms cream. I have found that about half and half seems to make a good consistency. To flavor his I add some yoghurt/dairy food. I can use about 10 gms on his 3.3:1 ratio, enough to give a good flavor, and it still leaves a few carbs left over in the rest of the meal. Banana flavor dairy food mixed in was the request today, yesterday was chocolate, the day before was strawberry > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: > > Just use cream and sweetener and a flavoring or vanilla flavoring. If you need to hide oil, add some and stir it in as the cream begins to freeze. If you don't add oil, you may want to add some water to stretch the amount he gets - that is what I do. > > It is rock hard when it comes out of the freezer. Others have shared to microwave it a bit and then chop it up for him to eat. > > > > > >
