I've been TRYING to get through to my local SS office, but can't get through yet. So until then, can anyone tell me if you HAVE to take the medicare while you are on state medicaid? I just got a letter from SS telling me that beginning in Nov. they will be taking $66.60 out of my check for medicare and I can't afford for them to do that. Money is tight as it is. I live in PA if that's any help to anyone with info about this. Thanks alot everyone. I don't know where else to turn. Gentle hugs to all and prayers for low pain moments.
