Guest guest Posted October 12, 2004 Report Share Posted October 12, 2004 Good suggestions. Once I get some of my energy back, I plan to make a list of things that I can do to keep myself busy. At this point, when I have my good moments, they last for only about a half hour to an hour but I'm sure that will improve over time. My sister surpised me yesterday (long story) by calling and asking me to go out for a while if I was up to it. We went to pick out stuff to decorate for Halloween/Autumn...ghords for me, and cornstalks, bales of hay. and pumpkins for her. Tiring, but for many reasons I was very glad that I went. Just to answer the question about Series 65... it allows you to act as an Investment advisor rep. giving people advice about financial investments, like stocks, bonds, etc. We thought that investment advising was a natural addition to our mortgage business. We save people money all the time, now we can help them invest what they save. Next, we'll do our Life, Health, Property and casualty insurance license (that is an 8 day course, heaven help me), then the Series 7 which will allow us to actuall effectuate trades in stock, etc. I have not studied in 20+ years. It is much more difficult than I thought. I take my Series 65 test next Friday, please keep your fingers crossed for me. Wish I could relax this weekend... I doubt that will happen, though. I found a pair of Spiderman PJ's for $5...so since it's gonna be really cold here, that is what Petey is going to be dressed up in. I couldn't see any reason in paying $30 for a costume that he's going to only wear for an hour....especially when I don't have that much money to spend. I caught the girls' costumes on sale thanfully.....got theirs for half price!
